Today’s Smart Race Card
The Smart Race Card is the main daily racing overview. It displays every race on the card while Next Race Intelligence keeps the upcoming race prominent at the top of the page.
Race Card Columns

Favourite
The Favourite column shows the active runner with the shortest current positive Win price.
Fav Odds
The current live Win price of the market favourite.
Market Gap
Shows the separation between the favourite and second favourite in the live market. A larger gap indicates that the market is more clearly centred on one runner.
TPN Top Rated
The runner with the highest current TPN Score in the race.
TPN Score
The overall TPN rating assigned to the runner from the underlying race analysis.
Rating Gap
The difference between the highest-rated and second-highest-rated runners. It provides a quick indication of how strongly the TPN Top Rated horse leads the rest of the race.
TPN Odds
The current Win and Place prices for the TPN Top Rated runner.
Next Race Intelligence
Next Race Intelligence automatically displays the next advertised race and provides a quick comparison between the live market, TPN ratings and Smart Matrix activity.
Race Header
The race time, course, race description and number of runners are displayed prominently. The background uses the same TPN race colour as the detailed Race Info page.
Market Favourite
The active runner with the shortest current positive Win price, together with its current Win and Place odds.
TPN Top Rated
The highest-rated TPN runner in the race, together with its TPN Score and current Win and Place odds.
Market + TPN Agree
When the Market Favourite and TPN Top Rated are the same horse, both cards display the MARKET + TPN AGREE badge.
This gives an immediate visual indication that the live market and TPN’s ratings are pointing to the same runner.
When Market and TPN differ
If the two cards show different horses, the live market favourite is simply different from TPN’s highest-rated runner. The detailed Race Info page provides the complete runner-level comparison.
Smart Matrix Action
Any active Smart Matrix signals for the displayed race appear in the Smart Matrix Action panel together with the relevant runner name.
If no Matrix signal has qualified, the panel displays Matrix Monitoring Active.
Race timing
Next Race Intelligence follows the next advertised race. When the current race reaches its scheduled off time, the panel switches to the next race on the card.
The Race Info Page
The Race Info page provides the detailed runner-by-runner view for an individual race.
Race Banner
- Displays the race time, course and race description.
- Uses the TPN race colour for that race.
- Shows the number of runners.
- Includes Previous Race and Next Race navigation.
- Displays the TPN Top Rated runner, its score and current Win and Place prices.
Runner Table

Odds Movement
Odds Movement provides a numerical indication of how the runner’s price has changed. Positive and negative movement is colour-coded on the Race Info page for quick identification.
Odds History
The Odds History sparkline provides a visual record of the recent market path, making it possible to see whether a price move has been steady, sudden or changing direction.
Odds Movement + Odds History
Odds Movement shows the measured size and direction of the move, while Odds History shows how that movement developed over time.
Smart Matrix Signals
The Smart Matrix monitors the live race data for qualifying market and runner conditions. When a condition is met, the relevant signal appears against the runner on the Race Info page and can also appear in Next Race Intelligence.

Smart Steamer
Smart Steamer identifies qualifying runners where the pre-race market movement meets the Smart Steamer criteria.
EDGE
EDGE is a higher-strength classification within the Smart Steamer family.
ELITE
ELITE is the highest Smart Steamer strength tier and is shown using the distinctive flame badge.
Late Steamer
Late Steamer identifies qualifying market movement occurring later in the pre-race period than the standard Smart Steamer checkpoint.
Smart Lay
Smart Lay identifies runners meeting the separate Smart Lay Matrix conditions.
No Matrix badge showing?
If no badge is displayed against a runner, no current Smart Matrix condition has qualified for that runner.
Telegram & Live Alerts
Smart Matrix signals can also be delivered through Telegram, providing the race, runner, signal timing, price and relevant market movement at the point the alert was generated.

The Movement figure included in the alert records the qualifying market movement at the point the Smart Matrix signal was generated.

Why is Next Race Intelligence showing no Matrix action?
No qualifying Smart Matrix signal is currently attached to the displayed race.
Why can I see a Matrix badge on a Race Info page but not in Next Race Intelligence?
Next Race Intelligence follows the current next advertised race. Once a race reaches its scheduled off time, the panel moves to the next race.
Why is the live price different from the price in Telegram?
The Telegram alert records the price at the signal checkpoint. The Race Info page displays the current market price, which can continue to change.
What does Market + TPN Agree mean?
The current market favourite and TPN Top Rated runner are the same horse.
Can more than one Smart Matrix alert appear in a race?
Yes. More than one runner can qualify and different Smart Matrix signal types can be active.
Why might Place Odds be blank?
The relevant Place market may not yet be available or active.
Why does the Next Race Intelligence panel change colour?
It uses the same TPN race colour as the detailed Race Info page for that race.
What happens when the advertised race time is reached?
Next Race Intelligence moves directly to the next advertised race on the card. The previous race remains available from the Smart Race Card and Race Info navigation.
