I have to say my favourite bet in the Diamond System is the 2tbp Multibet = Two selections around 6, 7 or more odds and where you can get a minimum of about 3 for the 2tbp.
Think of it logically, at those win odds they are both priced up to have a good chance of winning – but not as much chance as the race favourite.
If you couple them at win odds, you very much increase the chance of a winning bet.
If you couple them in a Multibet at 2tbp you have not only four chances to win your bet, but 2 chances of a Dubble Bubble payout!
Bank on it to bring home the bacon!

is this place only?
Hi Alastair, thanks for the query.. the Staking Sheet is asking you to work with both bets in each race (NAP and Nb). If you visit the Rules of Engagement you can see some guidelines on how to play the bets. Here they are:
Next, let us look at playing the NAP and Nb bets together.
Guidelines
1. Omit any selection if win odds over 15
If only one selection due to a non-runner or withdrawal, play to Split bet protocols with 1.5 as the required Place price.
If Place Price under 1.5 a win bet is played.
If both selections are more or less equal odds a Win Multibet is played
If one selection is about 2pts higher Win odds than the other, the ‘Doubler’ can be attempted. The ‘Doubler’ bet uses the shorter odds to Win and the longer odds to Place ***
*** Subject to this rule: A profit must be obtainable if only one selection in the Multibet wins. This means the Place odds have to be over 2
Alastair, I meant to say earlier, if you only wanted to play the NAP in each race, you can still use the same staking sheet. The bet would be played to the first set of guidelines in the Rules of Engagement. Any questions let me know.
Stand by for an update in the NAP only betting guidelines. Best, Gav
Any joy Alastair, did you hit that target with Demetrius on the 2nd race?
I did not back anything – paper trading for a few days
Ok, that is the way to go – be sure to compare with my results and let me know any questions. You can crack this with 2/3 days focus – soon as you ask something I will get back to you. Other than targeted, easy to pick up winning bets the point of this service is to fast track players into mastery. Best, Gav
To him who knocks, each door unlocks,
And he who seeks shall find
Nothing can keep thee from thine own
Save thine own slothful mind.
Behold, I set before you an open door which no man can shut – save thyself.
Yesterday (5th September) was amazing! I was on the road for a lot of it and played 5 races at total random on my phone. Everyone a winner, then when arriving back in the office at 18:50 I decided to play the last two races at Worcester and they were both winners. 1st and 2nd place claimed in both races! When you read in the emails about an ‘all day racing edge’ – this is a good example. Races played at random to fit in with whatever your daily schedule is – and every chance of them being winners.
No UK racing – (10th September) – I have just learned they are on strike. I am going to play the qualifying races at Cork! 18:00hrs Update: A lovely little Job Done from two straight winners in the only two qualifying races today.
Hi Gav, if only Automation had followed you yesterday (15th), the first session you had ‘Job Done’ after three races, the second session ‘Job Done’ after 7 races, because you played win and place bets, netting a fantastic 6.45% profit.
Automation played 17 bets, all as ‘Win’ and all resulting in debits.
Is it likely in the future that Automation will follow your manual bets?
There were winners around yesterday Andrew, a quick glance at the results sheet at the end of the day would have shown that. Don’t forget the number of debits you are referring to include two selections per race, I understand the automation did encounter 8 debit races and delivered an overall debit figure on the day. It is sure to turn round today. Best, Gav
Morning Andy, two Job Dones for you yesterday? Best, Gav
The thing is that the automation follows an approach revolving around the Balanced Dutch, whereas my Manual rules revolve around the Multibet and the guidelines in my ROE. Though, I can tell you that we do have a profile close to the press which includes the ROE “If one selection is about 2pts higher Win odds than the other, the ‘Doubler’ can be attempted. The ‘Doubler’ bet uses the shorter odds to Win and the longer odds to Place *** “. It still won’t be able to exactly mirror the manual play, but it will be pretty close. For instance there was a bet from 15th September 15:42 Brighton and it is on my sheet screenshot in the post for that day, where both bets were about 9 for the win and about 4 for the 2tbp, that struck me as an obvious bet with one of them being about Evens to get the 2nd place. But some days, whatever you do – one will perform better than than other and then vice versa. The key is to simply get stuck in the next day and keep going. The current BD set up on automation will double your bank every month, and we will get alternative profiles in the member area asap. Best, Gav
Hi Andy,
The automation system posted on site uses the balanced dutch approach. I now have a working version of the equal stakes approach which will place an equal stake in either the win or place markets depending on criteria. I will add it to the automation section of the page today. I would also recommend enabling the fast results feature on your TBM profile on which you are running the system. Global Settings>Fast Results.
Andy, one thing you could do for a ‘recovery’ approach is set the Automation to go for 2 targets in a day? I reckon it would take about 6 days of 1 target to recover a shock day like yesterday, but you could engage with two targets until at least making a suitable dent into the debit figure, then revert back to one target. Basically, you are going to double capital every month with this automation system.
Gav, was watching the 15:05 at Newcastle today (14/11) and Powerofjet was $2.76 on the Win market and McGrath From Clune was $4.8. So one selection greater than 2 pts difference go for the Doubler.
McGrath From Clune was $1.38 Top 3 Place but $2.06 on the Top 2 Place.
Does that mean you would use the Top 2 place?
Guess I am asking if you change the place market you use to get the min $2?
Simon, I am just travelling. Sounds like the right question. I will reply earlier this evening. Best, Gav
Ps I probably would have gone for a Win Multibet at those odds.. But your concept of which place price to take is correct. 2tbp as the odds would have given you at least a break even if only the Place bet won. But still keep the Dubble Bubble in play. Well done! ?
Gav, no rush. By the way the doubler came off. Powerofjet won and McGrath From Clune came 2nd.
Awesome work Simon!! ??
Gav, can I check what to do if one of the selections is odds on i.e Below $2.
Reading the rules of engagement assuming there are 2 selections running if the second selection has places odds Above $1.5 (assuming the second selection is 2 pts higher than the first) then use the place odds for the second selections.
If the odds for the selection are below $1.5 do we just bet the first selection for a win.
Couple of examples from today (17 Nov):
12:50 Plumton, Fountains Blenheim $1.65 & Calvino Place is $1.85 so just bet Fountains Blenheim for the win?
13:30 Exeter, Harry Lowes $1.80 & Captain Kool Place is $2.70 so Multi?
Just trying to be sure about managing races with odds on runners. Just a bit confused.
Thanks.
Hi Simon, I wanted to spend a bit more time on answering your questions.. see capitals below.
Gav, can I check what to do if one of the selections is odds on i.e Below $2.
Reading the rules of engagement assuming there are 2 selections running if the second selection has places odds Above $1.5 (assuming the second selection is 2 pts higher than the first) then use the place odds for the second selections. I WOULD NOT USE ODDS ON FOR THE PLACE, IT CAN WORK IF A DUBBLE BUBBLE LANDS, BUT OVERALL YOU NEED AN ACCEPTABLE PROFIT SHOULD ONLY ONE OF THE BETS WIN
If the odds for the selection are below $1.5 do we just bet the first selection for a win. SO, MOVING AWAY FROM UNDER 1.5 FOR A PLACE IF TWO SELECTIONS – I WOULD LOOK TO THE WIN MULTIBET
Couple of examples from today (17 Nov):
12:50 Plumton, Fountains Blenheim $1.65 & Calvino Place is $1.85 so just bet Fountains Blenheim for the win?YES, THAT IS AN OPTION BUT WHEN I DO THE BET TYPE FORECASTS I WOULD PROBABLY SAY WIN MULTIBET
13:30 Exeter, Harry Lowes $1.80 & Captain Kool Place is $2.70 so Multi? YES! THAT WOULD BE A MULTIBET WITH THE WIN FOR HARRY LOWES AND A PLACE FOR KAPITEIN KOOL – I SEE THAT WAS A WINNING DUBBLE BUBBLE. BRAVO SIMON!
Just trying to be sure about managing races with odds on runners. Just a bit confused.
Thanks.
Hi Simon, read through the rules here and let me know if you have any questions.
This means the Place odds have to be over 2
1.5 is a Split Bet rule and you only play a Split Bet when there is 1 runner. Place odds really need to be over 2 and able to ensure an acceptable profit if you are playing two selections in the Multibet. Best, Gav
